01 About these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of fitcardiology.services and to enquiries submitted through our website.

“FITCARDIOLOGY LTD”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to FITCARDIOLOGY LTD, registered in England and Wales under company number 16457244. “You” and “your” refer to the person accessing the website or submitting an enquiry.

By using the website, you agree to comply with these terms as applicable to your use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website. Separate terms or written arrangements may apply to a particular service or confirmed appointment; where applicable, those arrangements will be communicated to you.

02 Our website and services

Our website is intended to provide general information and a point of contact for enquiries relating to cardiology appointment arrangements and associated administrative information.

Depending on the arrangements available, our website may support:

  • Appointment enquiries and requests.
  • Information about referral requirements and appointment preparation.
  • Communication about appointment availability and arrangements.
  • General administrative enquiries about the services described on the website.

Submitting a form does not itself create a confirmed appointment, guarantee availability or establish that a particular service is suitable for you. Any service will be subject to the information provided to you and the arrangements confirmed separately.

The website does not offer an online diagnosis service, emergency medical service or online pharmacy. Website information is general and should not be treated as an individual clinical assessment.

03 Appointment enquiries and confirmation

You may submit an appointment request using the relevant website form or contact method. Please provide accurate contact details and the information reasonably requested to help us respond to your enquiry.

An automated acknowledgement, if issued, confirms receipt only. It does not necessarily mean that an appointment has been accepted or scheduled.

An appointment is treated as confirmed only when we or the relevant service provider expressly confirm the arrangements. Confirmation may include the date, time, format or location, any referral requirements, applicable fees and relevant cancellation conditions.

Availability may change before confirmation. We may contact you to clarify information or discuss alternative arrangements if the requested appointment cannot be accommodated.

If additional referral documents or information are required, we will explain what is needed where reasonably possible. An enquiry may remain pending until the necessary information is received.

04 Your information and responsibilities

When using the website or requesting an appointment, you agree to:

  • Provide information that is accurate and not knowingly misleading.
  • Provide contact details through which we can reasonably reach you.
  • Tell us promptly if relevant appointment details change.
  • Provide referral or supporting documents when they are required and requested.
  • Use the website lawfully and avoid submitting malicious or unauthorised material.
  • Read the appointment details and any applicable fees or cancellation terms communicated before confirming an arrangement.

Please do not submit another person’s personal or medical information unless you are authorised to do so or another lawful basis permits it. If you are acting for someone else, please explain your role when making the enquiry.

If information provided is incomplete or cannot be verified where verification is reasonably necessary, we may need to request clarification before progressing the enquiry.

05 Fees and payment

Any applicable consultation fee, administrative charge, payment method and payment deadline will be communicated to you before you are asked to commit to the relevant paid service.

Fees may depend on the particular service and the arrangements offered. No fee should be assumed to apply unless it has been communicated to you as part of the relevant appointment or service arrangements.

Where advance payment is required, we will explain the amount, payment process and any applicable cancellation or refund conditions before the payment commitment is made.

Where no payment has been requested or agreed, submitting an appointment enquiry alone does not create an obligation to pay an undisclosed fee.

Any refund or reimbursement will be assessed in accordance with the terms communicated for the relevant service and applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes a refund or other remedy required by law.

06 Cancellations, rescheduling and missed appointments

If you need to cancel or change a confirmed appointment, please contact us using the details provided in your confirmation or on our Contact page as soon as reasonably possible.

Any cancellation notice period, rescheduling conditions, missed appointment charge or refund arrangement that applies to a particular booking will be communicated before you commit to it. The applicable terms may depend on the service and the provider delivering it.

If we or the relevant service provider need to change or cancel an appointment, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and explain any available next steps.

If an appointment cannot proceed because required information or referral documents have not been supplied, we will explain the position and any available options. Any fee consequence will be determined by the terms communicated for that appointment and applicable law.

No blanket “no refunds under any circumstances” rule is intended by this section. Statutory rights and any applicable contractual rights remain unaffected.

07 Clinical information and emergencies

Information on this website is provided for general informational and administrative purposes. It is not a substitute for advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional who has assessed your individual circumstances.

Website forms and general email correspondence are not intended to provide emergency triage, diagnosis, treatment instructions or continuous clinical monitoring. Do not rely on an appointment enquiry as a way to obtain urgent medical assistance.

If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 999 or attend an emergency department as appropriate. For urgent medical advice in England that is not a life-threatening emergency, contact NHS 111.

Do not delay seeking urgent care while waiting for a response to a website enquiry or an appointment confirmation.

Any clinical service, if arranged, is subject to the separate professional relationship, assessment, consent and arrangements applicable to that service. An administrative enquiry does not establish a clinician-patient relationship by itself.

08 Acceptable website use

You must not misuse the website or attempt to interfere with its operation. In particular, you must not:

  • Attempt unauthorised access to the website, server or related systems.
  • Upload malware or material designed to disrupt website operation.
  • Use forms to send unlawful, abusive, fraudulent or deliberately misleading content.
  • Collect or misuse another person’s information without appropriate authority.
  • Use automated methods in a way that unreasonably disrupts the website.

We may take proportionate steps to protect the website, its users and our systems where misuse is reasonably suspected.

09 Privacy and data protection

We handle personal information in accordance with applicable data protection requirements. Information submitted through appointment or contact forms may be used to respond to your enquiry, communicate relevant arrangements, manage the request and meet applicable legal obligations.

Please consult our Privacy Policy for further information about the types of information that may be collected, how it may be used, lawful grounds for processing, retention, sharing and your rights.

Our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained in the Cookie Policy.

Where health information or other special-category personal data is involved, additional legal requirements may apply. We will handle such information in accordance with the requirements applicable to the relevant processing.

10 Third-party services and external links

The website may contain links to external websites or rely on third-party tools for hosting, forms, communications or other functions. These services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

A link is provided for convenience or information and does not, by itself, mean that we endorse every statement, service or practice on the linked website.

We are not responsible for the independent operation of external websites. This does not exclude or limit any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11 Website information and liability

We take reasonable care when preparing website information and maintaining website functionality. However, online information may not always reflect the latest availability, arrangements or circumstances. Please confirm important details directly with us before relying on them.

The website is provided for general information and enquiry handling. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website availability.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Where you are a consumer, nothing in these terms removes or restricts your statutory consumer rights. Any limitation of liability relating to a specific service must be lawful, fair and appropriate to the actual circumstances.

12 Complaints and contact

If you have a concern about the website, an appointment enquiry or an administrative arrangement, please contact us with a clear description of the issue and any relevant reference details.

We will review the information provided and respond within a reasonable period. If the matter concerns clinical care delivered by a separate provider, we will explain the appropriate route for raising that concern where the relevant information is available.

13 Changes and governing law

We may update these terms when our website, enquiry process, services or legal obligations change. The current version will be published on this page. Changes will not remove rights that have already accrued where doing so would be unlawful.

If a change materially affects a service already agreed with you, we will take any steps required by the applicable agreement and law.
